How to Have the Best 4th of July at Massey's Landing

Fourth of July is a big holiday around here. We have fun events, the campground is bustling and everyone is sporting their red, white and blue. It’s such a fun time to go camping.

If you decide to stay with us over Fourth of July here are a few tips to make your stay as fun as possible.

Bring Your Patriotic Gear

Getting in the spirit makes the holiday so much fun. Deck out your site with flags, bunting and banners or deck yourself out in head to toe red white and blue. Trust us, you won’t stand out. Don’t forget fun accessories like Uncle Sam hats, patriotic glasses and headbands for the kids.

Plan a Cookout

It wouldn’t be Fourth of July without a cookout. Load up on burgers, hot dogs, chips and sides for a campsite cookout. Make some new friends and invite your campground neighbors over to join you! Don’t forget classic treats like flag cakes, bomb pops and red, white and blue cocktails!

Deck Out Your Golf Cart

Cover your golf cart in flags, tinsel, lights and bunting. Enter our golf cart parade or just cruise around in style.

Don’t Miss our Events

We have a whole week packed with fun, Fourth of July themed events including rocket crafts, a watermelon eating contest, a golf cart parade and a slip N Slide. The highlight will be our Fourth of July Carnival. You won’t want to miss it.

Watch Some Fireworks

Head over to the Delaware Beaches for a fireworks display over the ocean. Rehoboth Beach holds theirs on July 3, Bethany Beach holds their Independence Day Celebration on July 4 and Lewes holds their Old Fashioned Fourth of July on July 4.
