Chilling on our private beach with a cocktail from Paradise Grill in your hand is a key part of the Massey’s Landing experience. There’s nothing more relaxing than kicking back and enjoy the beautiful view of Rehoboth Bay or floating the day away in a raft.
If you want to get the full beach experience you need a few essentials. Make sure you pack these items before you leave home or look for them in our marketplace.
Beach Towels
Nothing is worse than getting to the campground and realizing you left the beach towels at home. So this is your reminder to bring them. Pack extras while you’re at it.
Beach Chairs
You can get by just sitting on your towel but it gets uncomfortable pretty quickly. For the ultimate beach lounging bring a chair. The fancier models with backpack straps and cup holders are totally worth it by the way.
A cooler
If you want to have a nice long, relaxing beach day pack a cooler. Nothing will cut a beach outing short like a hungry kid or an empty water bottle so plan ahead.
An Umbrella
There are a couple of cabanas on our beach, but you’re going to want to bring your own shade. Set up a beach umbrella that can cover your whole crew or grab one that can attach to your chair.
Sunscreen
This is key. Realistically it should probably be number one on the list because without it you’ll be miserable.
Beach Games
Whether you bring your corn hole boards down to the beach, start a game of football or toss around a frisbee games make a day at the beach even more fun. Stop by the marketplace and give something new a try.
A Beach Bag
Loading up the golf cart makes a trip over to the beach a breeze, but you still have to get from the golf cart to the shoreline. Save yourself a few trips and bring a beach bag.
Swimsuits
It’s hard to enjoy the sun and sand if you aren’t dressed properly so don’t forget this key item.
A Raft
There are few things more relaxing than floating the day away in nice calm waters. Don't forget to grab a float so you can unwind.
